  • CHOB Construction

    Facility Maintenance for Operational Costs:

    Built in 1924, our facility demands extensive maintenance to ensure the safety of the numerous residents under our care. With the help of community support and grants, we can maintain a secure and hygienic environment for individuals overcoming homeless barriers.

  • Personal Care Necessities:

    The majority of shelter residents arrive without their own sheets, pillows, clean socks, and basic items such as menstrual products, toilet paper and more. Thanks to donations and funding, we can provide them with these essential items to help them feel more at home.

  • Professional Case Management:

    Our aim, through the dedicated case management team, is to provide each shelter resident with guidance and support to help them create a personalized plan and set achievable goals.

  • Kids Club

    Our kids club operates from Monday to Friday, aiming to assist both parents and children at Community House by providing a safe space for kids to play while their parents engage in mental health or substance use appointments, seek employment, housing, and other external resources to enhance their path towards self-sufficiency. To sustain this complimentary service for parents, we rely on donations and assistance with items such as diapers, baby wipes, snacks, and more.

  • Non- Perishable & Fresh Food

    Through our set programs and trusted partners, we can provide a variety of short and long-term initiatives to aid the homeless community in Cowlitz County.
