Country Run

Apartments

The Community House offers a range of services, including the management of 20 apartments at Country Run Apartments. Our mission is to assist families as they transition from homelessness to becoming productive members of society, guiding them from the shelter to their own homes.

Country Run Apartments features a total of 20 units: 8 three-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom apartments. Each unit includes essential appliances such as a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. Upon entering the program, clients must participate in various services, including case management, mental health support, substance use assistance, peer support, job readiness, and housing support, all aimed at helping individuals and families secure permanent housing after the two-year program.

Most families living here are primarily single mothers with one to five children, striving to adjust to everyday life. They concentrate on being good neighbors, nurturing friendships, parenting, budgeting, paying bills on time, and managing groceries throughout the month, while also utilizing community resources and childcare as needed. Additionally, some parents attend LCC to pursue diplomas or degrees in hopes of securing a stable career after the program ends.
